How do you properly install a piston pump?
Installing a piston pump requires connection to a water tank or mains through an appropriate pipeline. A properly sized filter (60-120 mesh) must be installed to protect the pump from impurities that could cause automatic valve blockage, nozzle clogging, piston scratches, or premature system wear. The pump must be fed with an inlet pressure between 0.5 and 3 Bar, with a maximum of 10 bar if connected directly to the water mains. For optimal operation, the water level in the tank should be above the pump (flooded suction configuration) or at least at the same level. In case of negative inlet pressures, an auxiliary feed pump may be necessary.
